PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a degree of damage applied to passengers due to collision, even when adequate physical safety measures have not been adopted.SOLUTION: When predicted that a collision will occur after time Tc, on the basis of relative position data with respect to an object obtained by a sensor 3 and a speed vector Vc, a vehicular posture range in which turning is possible within the collision prediction time Tc is obtained, and then the obtained vehicular posture range is divided into multiple small ranges to obtain collidable sites of a vehicle for each of the small ranges, before collision occurs with the object. Further, collision damage scores are obtained expressing a degree of collision damage for each site of the vehicle, and a vehicle site minimizing the collision damage score is selected, and then a vehicular posture is controlled by a drive unit 2 such that the selected vehicle site collides with the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】十分な物理的安全対策が施されていない場合でも、衝突により搭乗者が受ける被害の度合いを効果的に軽減する。
