Curable glass ionomer compositions comprising a first paste and a second paste, and methods of using the disclosed compositions are disclosed. The first paste includes water, polyacid, and a non-acid reactive filler. The second paste contains water and an acid reactive filler. At least one of the first paste and the second paste further comprises substantially crystalline inorganic fibers.
