Aryl-quinolin derivatives for use in inhibiting vasculogenic mimicry, treating diseases characterized by abnormal vascular morphology or function and/or by the presence of vasculogenic mimicry in a subject in need thereof are disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, the compounds are for use in treating metastatic tumor, hyperproliferative, or angiogenic diseases.
