The system includes a conduit configured to channel fluids towards the patient, a sensor configured to measure at least one operating parameter of the fluid being channeled to the patient, an effector configured to change the operating parameter of the fluid, and a controller configured to selectively activate the effector based on a signal received from the sensor.
