PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of reducing an influence of an ultrasonic wave reflected on a backplane member.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: an ultrasonic oscillator for transmitting/receiving the ultrasonic wave an intermediate layer having acoustic impedance greater than the ultrasonic oscillator the backplane member for supporting the ultrasonic oscillator and a buffer layer. The ultrasonic oscillator, the intermediate layer and the backplane member are disposed in the order of the ultrasonic oscillator, the intermediate layer and the backplane member.
