In certain aspects, the present disclosure relates to sunless tanningcompositions and methods for using the same. It has been found that using acombination of water soluble silicones and/or water dispersible silicones mayimprove the deposition of certain cosmetic ingredients and/or form aprotective layerover certain cosmetic ingredients. Such improved sunless tanning compositionsmay reduce perception of a tacky or sticky feeling after deposition of thesunlesstanning composition.
