PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composition for cleaning and eyewash, having the effect of removing the dirt at animal hair under the eyes, and also having the bactericidal effect of giving moisture to the eyes of the animal, protecting the surface of corneal and preventing or treating inflammation at the same time and a method for preparing the same.SOLUTION: This composition containing boric acid is found to become a single preparation having the cleaning effect and eyewash effect at the same time. The preparation can contain as necessary, a viscosity modifier, a surfactant, a pH adjusting agent, a preservative, an isotonizing agent, salts, a moisturizing agent, a coloring agent, a deodorizing agent, an aromatizing agent, etc. The composition has the cleaning effect for removing the dirt at the animal hair under the eyes, and also has the bactericidal effect of giving moisture to the eyes, protects the surface of corneal and prevents or treats the inflammation at the same time to enable the total care of the eyes for animals.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】発明は、動物の眼下毛の汚れを除去する効果と、動物の眼に潤いを与え、角膜表面を保護し、炎症を予防または治療する殺菌効果を併せ持つ清拭および点眼用組成物、当該組成物を調製する方法を提供する。【解決手段】ホウ酸を含有する本発明の組成物が、上記の清拭効果と点眼効果を併せ持つ単一製剤になりうることを見出した。本発明の製剤には、必要に応じて、粘稠剤、界面活性剤、pH調節剤、保存剤、等張化剤・塩類、保湿剤、着色剤、矯臭剤・香料等を含有することができる。本発明は、動物の眼下毛の汚れを除去する清拭効果と、眼に潤いを与え、角膜表面を保護し、併せて、炎症を予防または治療する殺菌効果を有する組成物を提供し、動物用の眼のトータルケアが可能となった。【選択図】なし
