PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic with improved feeling of use (such as smoothness, smooth combing with fingers, and easiness of rinsing), finishing feeling after use (such as smoothly feeling, suppleness, moist feeling, softness, smoothness, gloss, sustainability of perfumes, and combing), and a feeling of wetness on the skin.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic according to this invention comprises (a) from 1 to 10 wt.% of cationic surfactant, (b) from 0.1 to 5 wt.% of non-ionic surfactant in liquid or paste form at normal temperature, having a HLB value of 7 or less, (c) from 1 to 20 wt.% of oily components, and (d) from 0.1 to 5 wt.% of cationic polymers, and the range of the weight ratio (a)/(b) of the components (a) and (b) is from 2 to 45.
