PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist device which does not compel unreasonable walking action to a user and onto which a user can easily get by himself/herself.SOLUTION: A walking assist device 10 comprises: leg frames 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d provided with wheels； a vertical frame 13 which is connected to upper ends of the respective leg frames and is erectly supported； a superior limb support frame 14 surrounding a front side of a bust and left and right sides of a user； and a saddle 30. The saddle 30 is suspended from the superior limb support frame by belts 40 through support members 31L, 31R, which are arranged at a certain spacing on opposite sides of the left and right sides of the saddle 30.
