Регистрируют электроэнцефалограмму (ЭЭГ) до лечения и определяют показатель спектральной мощности тета-активности в отведениях F8 и F7 относительно референтного объединенного ушного электрода. Рассчитывают соотношение значений показателя F8 к F7, определяют натуральный логарифм этого числа и умножают на 1000. При величине полученного показателя ниже 190 считают лечение показанным.
