PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex microparticle suitable for a tobacco replacement therapy or withdrawal method, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a nicotine drug used by an inhaler is characterized by manufacturing a flowable mixture from a combination of nicotine, non-spheronized sugar, and water-containing liquid carrier and then spray drying the flowable mixture under such a condition that a microparticle of the nicotine drug suitable for delivery to the human lung alveolus and lower respiratory tract.
