PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acid polysaccharide inorganic salt and its manufacturing method a gel and/or a fiber of the acid polysaccharide inorganic salt and the gel and/or the fiber of the acid polysaccharide inorganic salt that holds spores of marine algae and/or marine algae.SOLUTION: The acid polysaccharide inorganic salt is the one in which the ratio of a monovalent inorganic salt of an acid polysaccharide which makes the main component to the whole acid polysaccharide inorganic salt, is &ge90 mol%, further &ge99.85 mol%, and particularly &ge99.9 mol%. The manufacturing method of the acid polysaccharide inorganic salt includes the step wherein an aqueous solution of the salt between the inorganic cations containing the monovalent inorganic cations that make the major component and the anions of the acid polysaccharide is dialyzed against a dialysis fluid containing monovalent inorganic cations. The gel and/or the fiber of the acid polysaccharide inorganic salt is provided.
