The invention relates to a method for catching rodents in a sewage system. The method comprises the steps of: a) attaching one end of a support line to a rodent trap； b) lowering the rodent trap down a manhole in the sewage system by means of the support line, and keeping an end of the support line above the manhole； c) positioning the rodent trap in contact with the benching of the bottom part of the manhole； and d) tightening the support line, thereby providing a substantially vertical upwards force on the rodent trap, and attaching the other end of the support line in the upper part of the manhole.La présente invention concerne un piège à rongeurs dans un système d'égouts. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : a) fixer une extrémité d'une ligne de support à un piège à rongeurs； b) l'abaissement du piège à rongeurs vers le bas d'un trou d'homme dans le système d'égouts au moyen de la ligne de support, et le maintien d'une extrémité de la ligne de support au-dessus du trou d'homme； c) positionner le piège à rongeurs en contact avec le pliage de la partie inférieure du trou d'homme； et d) le serrage de la ligne de support, fournissant ainsi une force sensiblement verticale vers le haut sur le piège à rongeurs, et la fixation de l'autre extrémité de la ligne de support dans la partie supérieure du trou d'homme.
