A matching layer(120) reduces a difference of sound impedance between the piezoelectric layer and a human body to deliver ultrasonic waves generated in the piezoelectric layer to a target of the human body. A lens layer(130) concentrates the ultrasonic waves heading for the front of the piezoelectric layer on a specific spot. A backing layer(140) prevents an image distortion by blocking the ultrasonic waves heading for the rear of the piezoelectric layer.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013본 발명은 의료용 초음파 트랜스듀서의 수신감도 향상을 위한 구조에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 의료용 초음파 트랜스듀서에 있어서, 압전 물질이 진동하면서 전기적인 신호와 음향신호를 상호 변환시키기 위한 압전층 상기 압전층에서 발생된 초음파가 인체의 목표지점에 최대한 전달될 수 있도록 상기 압전층과 인체 사이의 음향 임피던스 차이를 감소시키는 정합층 상기 압전층의 전방으로 진행하는 초음파를 특정 지점으로 집속시키는 렌즈층 및 상기 압전층의 후방으로 초음파가 진행하는 것을 차단시켜 영상 왜곡을 방지하는 배킹층을 포함하되, 상기 압전층은, 초음파의 송신 감도가 우수한 PZT(피에조소자)와, 초음파의 수신 감도가 우수한 단결정(Single-crystal)의 조합으로 구성하는 것을 그 구성상의 특징으로 한다.본 발명에서 제안하고 있는 의료용 초음파 트랜스듀서의 수신감도 향상을 위한 구조에 따르면, 의료용 초음파 트랜스듀서를 구성함에 있어, 송신감도가 우수한 PZT와 수신감도가 우수한 단결정(Single-crystal)의 조합으로 압전층을 구성함으로써, 초음파 트랜스듀서의 초음파 송수신의 감도가 향상되고, 그를 통한 초음파 트랜스듀서의 영상 진단의 전체 성능이 향상될 수 있도록 할 수 있다.
