PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave probe capable of improving a sensitivity deterioration of a specific frequency observed in frequency characteristics and directional characteristics.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic wave probe comprises: an ultrasonic wave transducer and a plurality of acoustic matching layers 20 arranged to overlap one another in a radiation direction of an ultrasonic wave radiated from the ultrasonic wave transducer. The plurality of acoustic matching layers 20 are formed like films.
