PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus which enables excellent alignment of a subject eye, and an ophthalmic apparatus control program.SOLUTION: Provided is an ophthalmic apparatus for examining a subject eye, comprising: optometry means for examining a subject eye； anterior ocular segment imaging means for capturing an image of the anterior ocular segment of the subject eye； index projection means for projecting, onto the subject eye, an index for detecting alignment status between the subject eye and the optometry means； drive means for moving the optometry means relative to the subject eye； and control means for controlling the drive means.
