PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain fixed robustness of a radiation image imaging device, as attaining reduction in weight.SOLUTION: In a radiation image imaging device 1 comprising: a sensor panel SP that has a plurality of radiation detection elements two-dimensionally arrayed and a housing 40 that has the sensor panel housed, in which the housing has a front member 41 on a side upon which a radiation is incident, and a back member 42 on a side opposite the front member, a member of any one of the front member and the back member is formed of a material higher in robustness than other member.
