PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to obtain useful information which cannot be obtained from magnetic resonance signals collected by dephasing and rephasing.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus is provided with a collector, a reconstructor, and a quantifying device, and a generator. The collector collects the managing resonance signals emitted from a subject. The reconstructor reconstructs at least one dephasing image and at least one rephasing image based on the magnetic resonance signals collected by the collector. The quantifying device quantifies the characteristics relating to the subject based on both the dephasing image and the rephasing image reconstructed by the reconstructor.
