The invention relates to a storage and mixing device for the production of abone cement doughfrom a monomer liquid (4) and a cement powder (5) as starting components ofthe bonecement, the storage and mixing device comprising a receptacle (2), in which amonomer liquidcontainer (3) is arranged, whereby the monomer liquid container (3) containsthe monomerliquid (4), and a cartridge (1) containing the cement powder (5), a feedplunger (6) which isarranged in the receptacle (2), whereby the feed plunger (6) is movable in alongitudinaldirection of the receptacle (2) and is accessible from a rear side of thereceptacle (2), and adispensing plunger (7) which is arranged in the cartridge (1), whereby thedispensing plunger(7) is shiftable in a longitudinal direction in the inside of the cartridge(1), whereby the front sideof the receptacle (2) is connected or connectable to the rear side of thecartridge (1) such thatan internal space of the receptacle (2) is connected to an internal space ofthe cartridge (1) suchas to be permeable to the monomer liquid (4), whereby the connection isdetachable, andwhereby a first securing means (8) is provided on the rear side of thereceptacle (2) and asecond securing means (9) is provided on the rear side of the cartridge (1),whereby the firstsecuring means (8) and the second securing means (9) are identical orcongeneric.The invention also relates to a method for the production of a bone cementdough, in particularof a pasty polymethylmethacrylate bone cement dough, whereby the bone cementdough isproduced from a cement powder (5) and a monomer liquid (4) through the use ofa storage andmixing device.
