Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer halbfesten Zubereitung, die Bispyridiniumalkan enthält, bei dem a) das Bispyridiniumalkan in Lösungsmittel gelöst wird, um eine Lösung des Bispyridiniumalkans herzustellen, und b) die Lösung des Bispyridiniumalkans mit einem oder mehreren weiteren üblichen Bestandteilen einer halbfesten Zubereitung gemischt wird. Vorzugsweise wird Octenidindihydrochlorid als Bispyridiniumalkan eingesetzt. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung nach dem Verfahren hergestellte halbfeste Zubereitungen in Form eines Konzentrats, in Form einer Anwendungszubereitung oder als Kit.
