The notification system includes: a detection unit that generates movement information of a subject according to a change over time； a storage unit that is connected to the detection unit and stores the movement information； and a control unit that receives the movement information from the detection unit, analyzes the movement information, makes a determination on the occurrence of a predetermined event from the result of the analysis, specifies the movement information in a predetermined period including the time when the determination was made, applies a storage priority value to the movement information according to a type of the predetermined event occurred, and transmits the movement information to the storage unit.
