PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional cutter for branches at a high position such as: handling force becomes weak at the tip end of a shaft in manual operation force required for cutting the branches becomes larger it requires labor to stretch the shaft in a branch cutter and it is difficult to cut the branches due to swingings of the branches depending on the position on which a hook hangs.SOLUTION: The branch cutter comprises: a base part comprising a driving power converting mechanism which converts rotating power into straight reciprocating power and an operation holding part a driving power transmitting shaft connected to the base part and transmitting the reciprocating power and a cutting saw part connected to the driving power transmitting shaft and moving in a reciprocating direction. The driving power converting mechanism comprises: a spiral rotator having a spiral groove on a rotation axis of the rotating power generator: and a slide member comprising a tracing segment which moves along with the spiral groove arranged on the spiral rotator and moves in the reciprocating direction on a linear track arranged in the base part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の高枝切り機は、手作業で行う場合手元の力が柄の先端では弱くなる、枝切りに要する力が多くなる、枝切り機においては柄の伸縮に手間取る、フックの掛かる位置により、枝がゆれて切りにくい等の問題点があった。【解決手段】回転動力を直線往復動力に変換する動力変換機構と操作把持部とを備えた基幹部と、該基幹部に連結され往復動力を伝達する動力伝達棹と、該動力伝達棹に連結され往復動する切断鋸部とからなり、前記動力変換機構は、回転動力機の回転軸に螺旋溝が形成された螺旋回転体と、該螺旋回転体に形成された螺旋溝に倣って従動する倣いコマを備え前記基幹部内に設けられた直線軌道上を往復動するスライド部材とで構成されている。【選択図】 図1
