Pharmaceutical compositions of metabotropic glutamate 5 receptor antagonists (mglu5) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof are shown. The compositions contain the therapeutic active compound with nonionic polymer and ionic polymer, binder and filler materials in either matrix pellet, matrix tablet or coated pellets. The compositions provide a 70% nmt independent ph in vitro release profile in one hour. nmt is 85% in 4 hours, and nlt 80% in 8 hours.
