PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system capable of highly precisely detecting as an inverse problem a distribution of electric constants in an object region to be measured.SOLUTION: Included are an antenna array formed with an array of plural planar antennas Akij that transmit microwaves so that the microwaves can be irradiated to an object region to be measured 6 and receive the microwaves transmitted by the object region to be measured 6 or reflected or scattered from the object region to be measured 6, transmission means 11 that controls polarization of the microwaves transmitted from the plural planar antennas, and receiving means 12 that controls polarization of the microwaves received by the plural planar antennas.
