PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which can cook tasty rice with a simple structure and at low cost by providing the inner pan with mechanical vibration by low-frequency current.SOLUTION: The rice cooker is provided with the inner pan 15 in which a material to be cooked is placed a rice cooker body 1 in which the inner pan 15 is stored in a detachable manner a heating means 7 of the inner pan 15 a vibrating means that is installed on the rice cooker body 1 and provides vibration to the inner pan 15 a controlling section 19 for controlling the heating means 7 and the vibrating means and a cover body 8 which opens and closes an opening of the rice cooker body 1.
