The present invention discloses a composition/formulation of Hair Oil which is beneficial in the treatment of hair loss as well as hair growth and simple and robust method of making it. The composition of the present invention is made up of natural components including vegetable oils and herbs. The vegetable oils used include the blend of the oils having iodine value or unsaturation character in the range between 20 to 110. The vegetable oils used contain the essential micronutrients including vitamins and essential fatty acids for the hair growth. The natural vitamins include the tocopherols, tocotrienols and p-carotene etc. the essential oil is used as one of the components to enhance the efficacy of the hair oil. The essential oil used is obtained from the natural source free from traces of organic solvents. The oily extract of herbs is prepared by extracting the powdered herbs with hot vegetable oils and blending the oily extract with the other vegetable oils containing active components such as Vitamin A, Vitamin E and essential fatty acids.
