FIELD: biotechnology.SUBSTANCE: method for cultivated oat growing under the conditions of soil contamination with oil products involves application of a population of Mg8 (Bacillus sp.) strain. Seed treatment is carried out for 2 hours at a temperature of 18-25°C by a suspension of bacteria with a concentration of 107 microbial cells in 1 ml. A suspension of cultured bacteria transferred from an uncultivated state is obtained as follows: a strain of Mg8 bacteria is accumulated on a dense nutrient medium for 24-48 hours at a temperature of 37°C, then the bacteria are washed with sterile saline, the resulting bacterial suspension is placed into a refrigerator at a temperature of +4 - +5°C for 72 hours for transition of uncultivated bacteria to the cultivated state, a working bacterial concentration of 10microbial cells in1 ml is prepared from the resulting bacterial suspension. Seed are sowed into soil contaminated with up to 10% by oil products, at air temperature of 16-22°C.EFFECT: method allows to grow oat under the conditions of soil contamination with oil and oil products in severe and difficult climatic conditions of the North.3 tbl, 2 ex
