PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blinking measuring instrument capable of calculating a fatigue degree based on a sure correlation between the fatigue degree and eye movement.
SOLUTION: This blinking measuring instrument 1 includes an imaging section 5 for capturing an image of a subjects eye 100, and eye opening speed calculation means (an eyelid extraction process section 6 and an eyelid opening/closing measuring section 7) for calculating an eye opening speed when blinking or a numerical value corresponding to the eye opening speed based on image data captured by the imaging section 5 and calculates the eye opening speed or the numerical value corresponding to the eye opening speed as a numerical value indicating the fatigue degree. This constitution can calculate the fatigue degree based on the sure correlation between the fatigue degree and the eye movement.
