The present invention relates to an enema device comprising a delivery container arranged for accommodating an enema and an applicator nozzle for dispersing the enema, and wherein the delivery container is arranged as a hand held pump and wherein a cross-section of said delivery container has the shape of an oval. Thereby is provided a simple, inexpensive and essentially maintenance free enema device which can be used for self- administrating of an enema.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de lavement comprenant un conteneur de distribution agencé pour recevoir un lavement et une buse d'applicateur pour disperser le lavement, et le conteneur de distribution étant agencé sous la forme d'une pompe à main et une section transversale dudit conteneur de distribution ayant la forme d'un ovale. Il est ainsi possible d'obtenir un dispositif de lavement simple, peu coûteux et essentiellement sans maintenance, qui peut être utilisé pour l'auto-administration d'un lavement.
