PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a biting toy, in which an endless ring shaped member or the like for producing sound in an endless operation member is inserted and which is prevented from the penetration of water, by a reduced number of working processes without producing burr on the outer periphery of the biting toy, and the biting toy manufactured thereby.SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the biting toy 20 constituted of a biting member 22, the endless operation member 24 and the endless ring-shaped members 26, the endless ring-shaped members 26 are formed, the endless operation member 24 is molded, a slit 32 is formed to the endless operation member 24 and the ring-shaped members 26 are mounted on the endless operation member 24 having the slit 32 formed thereto.
