PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe fatty liver inhibitor intakable daily.SOLUTION: A fatty liver inhibitor includes an aril of gac (Momordica cochinchinensis) or an extract thereof as an active ingredient, wherein gac (Momordica cochinchinensis) is a plant of the Cucurbitaceae Momordica genus naturally growing or being cultivated mainly in Southeast Asia such as Vietnam, the Chinese southern part, Taiwan, and India. Seeds of gac are called mokubetsushi in the Chinese medicine and used as an antiphlogistic or antidote as an external preparation.
