PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widely restore underwater plant beds by having a proper quantity of an underwater plant colonization inducer flow out for a long period of time so that underwater plants grow thickly preventing the colony of crustose coralline algae from dominating in the sea area with coralline flats.SOLUTION: The underwater environment restoration structure is made of a concrete block formed by kneading and mixing an underwater plant colonization inducer which is effective for promoting colonization and growth of underwater plants. The underwater plant colonization inducer is a substance chosen from one kind or two kinds or more of amino acids and/or nucleic acids, and is mixed in the composition of the concrete block at 3-20 wt.%. Moreover, the concrete block has three legs or more. As a result, the underwater plants grow thickly so that the colony of crustose coralline algae does not dominate.【課題】藻類着生誘発物質を長期間に亘り適量流出させることで、磯焼け状態の海域において無節サンゴモの群落が優占しないように藻類を繁茂させて藻場を広範囲に再生させる。【解決手段】藻類に対して付着・育成効果を発揮する藻類着生誘発物質を混練してなるコンクリートブロック製の水中環境再生構造体であって、藻類着生誘発物質は、アミノ酸及び/又は核酸の１種又は２種以上から選ばれた物質であり、コンクリートブロックの組成物中に３wt%乃至20wt%配合されている。又、コンクリートブロックは３本以上の脚体を有する。これにより、無節サンゴモの群落が優占しないように藻類を繁茂させる。【選択図】 なし
