PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic imaging apparatus capable of precisely and easily determining whether a photographed part is the left or right part of an examinee.SOLUTION: After the examinee W is positioned with respect to the radiographic imaging apparatus 10, the direction of the face F of the examinee W is detected on the basis of the detection data acquired by a face direction detection element part 52 by an imaging apparatus control part 50. Further, the imaging apparatus control part 50 judges that the photographed part is the left mamma LN if the detected direction of the face F of the examinee W is right-pointing and also judges that the photographing region is the right mamma RN if the detected direction of the face F of the examinee W is left-pointing.
