The apparatus of the present invention may include: a speed judgment part for judging a state of speed of a probe by detecting the speed of the probe； an interest area detection part for detecting an interest area from an acquired image, if the image is acquired by the probe； and an interest area judgment part which determines whether to judge the interest area on the basis of the judged state of the speed, and judges the interest area detected by an interest area detection part according to the decision result.프로브의 속도에 기초한 컴퓨터 보조 진단 지원 장치에 관한 것으로, 프로브의 속도를 검출하여 그 속도의 상태를 판단하는 속도 판단부와, 프로브에 의해 영상이 획득되면, 획득된 영상으로부터 관심영역을 검출하는 관심영역 검출부 및 판단된 속도의 상태를 기초로 관심영역의 판단 여부를 결정하고, 그 결정 결과에 따라 관심영역 검출부에 의해 검출된 관심영역을 판단하는 관심영역 판단부를 포함할 수 있다.
