PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seed pickup device configured to reliably pick up seeds one by one even in a case of fine seeds.SOLUTION: A seed pickup device 1 includes: a hopper 2 for storing a plurality of seeds a pin 31 provided projectably from a lower end part of the hopper 2 and a suction pump causing a tip end of the pin 31 to suck a seed and is configured to pick up the seed sucked by the tip end of the pin 31. The seed pickup device further includes a vibratory device 9 for vibrating the hopper 2. Before the pin 31 is projected, the vibratory device 9 is made to stop, and the vibratory device 9 is driven with the pin 31 stored in a guide part 23 of the hopper 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
