An injector device comprises a driving mechanism (100) and a needle ejection mechanism comprising a hollow skin needle, wherein the driving mechanism (100) is adapted to cause a dispensing of a drug from a cartridge (70) through the hollow skin needle and an ejection of the hollow skin needle from the injector device.
