FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: thermometry of upper and lower extremities is performed. Skin temperature is measured with electric thermometer in the morning at temperature of surrounding air 18-20° in a number of points. On upper extremity said points are: nail bed of third finger, middle of second intermetacarpal interval on hand back, lower third of forearm outside, middle third of forearm outside. If temperature on the surface of nail bed of third finger equals temperature on the surface of middle third of forearm outside or is lower than 28.8°, then upper third of forearm or lower third of shoulder outside is used as fourth point for measurement. On lower extremity said points are: nail bed of third toe, middle of second intertarsal interval, lower third of shin outside, middle third of shin outside. If temperature of the surface of nail bed of third toe equals temperature on the surface of middle third of shin outside or is lower than 28.2°, then upper third of shin or lower third of hip outside is used as fourth point for measurement. After that, distal thermal index is calculated by certain formula. If values of distal thermal index for arms are lower than 1.3, for legs - lower than 1.4, conclusion about pathological vasodilatation of vessels is made. If index values for arms are higher than 5.1, for legs - higher than 5.4, conclusion about pathological vasoconstriction of vessels, occlusion or compression of main vessels is made.EFFECT: simple method, which does not require special equipment and does not have contra-indications, makes it possible to estimate state of blood circulation in peripheral parts of extremities and make conclusion about the most probable genesis of vessel pathology in distal parts of extremities.4 tbl, 4 exИзобретение относится к медицине и может быть использовано для оценки кровообращения в дистальных отделах конечностей.
