PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly form the index of the following planting travel even in the bending of a supporting arm toward the rear side of a machine body by the rotation resistance of a rotary marker to a field surface, shaking of the base end part of the supporting arm, or the like, in a transplanter in which the rotary marker being an index forming body for forming the index of the follow planting travel is attached to the tip of the supporting arm to be projected to the side of the machine body. SOLUTION: This transplanter has such constitution that, when connecting rods 23L and 23R each equipped with the rotary marker 24 being the index forming body are supported downward to the rear on the tips of supporting rods 22L and 22R to freely stand or lie in an operation position or in a housing position, the connection rods 23L and 23R are rotatably supported in a fixed angle range around an axis X perpendicular to the supporting rods 22L and 22R so that a prescribed swinging amount of the rotary marker 24 relatively to the progress direction F of the machine body is allowed.
