The present disclosure is related to a haemovigilance system and method, making possible to reduce the error range in transfusion centers that still keep records on paper, since precludes an erroneous blood transfusion allowing to perform several cross tests at the moment, between the patient, the bag with the unit to be received, and the tube with the collected sample and in case the information derived from the tests does not match, the transfusion process cannot proceed. Safe information storage and product traceability can be achieved, at any point in the process and statistical reports can also be prepared.El objeto de la presente invención es proporcionar un sistema y método de hemovigilancia, que permite reducir el error de los centro de transfusión que llevan registros en papel, ya que imposibilita que se haga una transfusión de sangre errónea y permite hacer varias pruebas cruzadas al momento, entre el paciente, la bolsa con la unidad que va a recibir, y el tubo de la muestra recolectada y en caso de que no coincida la información derivada de las pruebas, no se puede seguir adelante con el proceso de transfusión. Se logra un almacenamiento seguro de la información y se puede lograr una trazabilidad en del producto en cualquier momento del proceso y logra elaborar reportes estadísticos.
