PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip device for an endoscope for performing a reliable clipping treatment without damaging members by pulling an operational wire with appropriate traction operation force all the time in operating to pull the operational wire to forcibly close a clip.
SOLUTION: A proximal end rod-shaped part 2a of the operational wire 2 engages a slide operation member 12 in a manner to slide in the direction of an axis line. A traction stopper 16 (16A, 16B, 16C) for preventing the part 2a from moving in the direction of the traction relative to the slide operation member 12 firmly adheres to the part 2a with prescribed adhesion strength. The operational wire 2 is pulled to the proximal end side when the slide operation member 12 pulls the part 2a within the prescribed adhesion strength. The adhesion parts of the traction stopper 16 (16A, 16B, 16C) relative to the part 2a break when the slide operation member 12 operates to pull the part 2a with a force greater than a prescribed adhesion strength.
