The fertilizer passageway can extend through the seed boot body between an outlet and an inlet elevated from the outlet. The seed passageway can extend through the seed boot body between an outlet and an inlet. The at least one soil deflecting edge can be integral with the seed boot body. The at least one row soil deflecting surface can extend aft from the at least one soil deflecting edge along the longitudinal axis and can face upward.
