The present invention provides a method for determining nodes for a brain network analysis and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus. The method comprises the following steps of: determining a weight value of each divided area on the basis of how many brain nerve fibers are included in the divided areas of the brain； creating brain images given a weight value of each of divided areas for a plurality of brains respectively； matching the created brain images for each of the brains according to a predefined template and creating a group matching image； and, on the basis of weight values of the predefined areas within the group matching images and a physical distance between the predefined areas, determining a node within the group matching images.뇌의 분할된 영역들이 뇌의 신경 섬유들을 포함하는 정도에 따라 분할된 영역들 각각의 가중치를 결정하는 단계； 분할된 영역들 각각마다 가중치가 부여된 뇌 영상을, 복수개의 뇌들 각각에 대해서 생성하는 단계； 복수개의 뇌들 각각마다 생성된 뇌 영상들을 기 정의된 템플릿에 따라 정합하여, 그룹 정합 영상을 생성하는 단계； 및 그룹 정합 영상 내의 기 정의된 영역들의 가중치 및 기 정의된 영역들 간의 물리적 거리에 기초하여, 그룹 정합 영상 내의 노드를 결정하는 단계；를 포함하는, 뇌 네트워크 분석을 위한 노드를 결정하는 방법 및 자기 공명 영상 장치를 제공한다.
