Provided is a low pH composition for local injection into skin. The composition comprises: a buffer whose pKa is approximately 2.8-4.2； and an active component which is acceptable as a cosmetic ingredient and has pKA roughly within 1 unit from the pKa of the buffer. pH of the composition is approximately 3.3 to 4 and buffer capacity is greater than or equal to 0.15 approximately.
