PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edible oil filter which can filter edible oil, to which a powdery adsorbent is added, with high efficiency and a low cost while preventing the clogging of a filter medium.
SOLUTION: The edible oil filter is constituted so as to filter the used edible oil, to which the powdery adsorbent is added, to store the filtered edible oil in a lower oil receiving container 80 and includes an oil storage container 10 provided with a bottom wall 11, a side wall 12 and an upper end opening and having a discharge hole 14 formed to the bottom wall 11 thereof, a porous member 30 for covering the discharge hole 14, a filter sheet 40 for covering the porous member 30, the intermediate member 50 on the filter sheet 40 and the receiving filter sheet 60 on the intermediate member 50. The intermediate member 50 is equipped with a horizontal member 511 for pressing the vicinity of the peripheral edge part of the filter sheet 40, an erected part 512 raised from the horizontal member and the bridge part 50a supported on the upper part of the erected part to support the bottom of the receiving filter sheet 60. The receiving filter sheet 60 is set to a size large enough to cover the inner wall surface of the oil storage container 10.
