PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest control agent which is a powder agent or granular agent not needing energy such as fire or electricity and prevents the approach of both flying insect pests and crawling insect pests on a fixed range of outdoor ground and in a space near to the ground over about 12 hours, by supporting an ordinary temperature-volatile insect pest control ingredient on a support and further compounding an agent for adjusting the volatilization of the insect pest control ingredient and to provide an insect pest control method using the insect pest control agent.SOLUTION: The insect pest control agent which comprises a powder agent or granular agent obtained by holding a chemical fluid containing an ordinary temperature-volatile insect pest control ingredient having vapor pressure of 2×10-4 to 1×10-2 mmHg at 30°C and an agent for adjusting the volatilization of the insect pest control ingredient on a granular of powder carrier, and prevents the approach of flying insect pests and crawling insect pests within a fixed range of outdoors is characterized in that the volatilization amount of the control agent is 1 to 50 mg per 1 m2 within 12 hours after applied and the chemical fluid treatment method uses the insect pest control agent.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】火や電気等のエネルギーを必要としない粉剤、粒剤において、担体に常温揮散性の害虫防除成分を担持させ、更にこの害虫防除成分の揮散調整剤を配合することにより、屋外の一定の範囲の地面及びその付近の空間に約12時間にわたり、飛翔害虫と匍匐害虫の両方を寄付けない害虫防除剤及びそれを用いた害虫防除方法の提供。【課題の解決手段】30℃における蒸気圧が2×10-4~1×10-2mmHgの常温揮散性の害虫防除成分と、この害虫防除成分の揮散調整剤とを含有する薬液を粒状又は粉状の担体に保持させた粒剤又は粉剤において、散布後、12時間以内の防除成分揮散量を1m2当り1~50mgと成したことを特徴とする、屋外の一定範囲に飛翔害虫及び匍匐害虫を寄せ付けない害虫防除剤及びそれを用いた薬剤処理方法。【選択図】なし
