PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly light irradiation beauty appliance which can be switched between two kinds of light irradiation treatment while keeping high safety.
SOLUTION: The light irradiation beauty appliance includes: a case 21 having a shape which can be gripped and held by one hand a main light emission part 22 which emits light having a thermal effect in a specific direction from the case 21 a first connector 32 provided on the outer surface part of the case 22 a second connector 41 which can be connected to the first connector 32 an expansion light-emitting unit 40 which comprises a cable 42 and a sub light-emitting part 43 emitting light to a range larger than the light emission area of the main light emission part 22 an operation part 50 provided at the outer surface part of the case 21 and a controller which is provided inside the case 21 and selectively supplies the main light emission part 22 or the sub light-emitting part 43 with a drive power source needed for light emission according to the operation of the operation part 50 thereby driving the lighting of the main light emission part or the sub light-emitting part.
