PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic device that accurately detects moisture content of skin and appropriately controls light irradiation to a skin surface.SOLUTION: The cosmetic device includes: mist generating devices 5, 7, 10 for generating mist to spray on an operation part light source parts 11 for irradiating the operation part with light a detection part for detecting light reflected from the operation part and the moisture content of the operation part and a control part 8 for controlling an operation of the light source part based on the moisture content detected in the detection part.
