PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation tomographic apparatus (100) capable of displaying a clear sliced image even when soft tissue existing near a bone such as a skull bone is reconstituted in image.
SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a data collecting means (105) for collecting projection data of an imaging region in a subject through the use of a multi-string detector (104) a first image reconstituting means (S52) for performing two-dimensional back projection processing, based on the projection data collected by the data collecting means, and reconstituting the first reconstitution image of the imaging region a second image reconstituting means (S47) for performing three-dimensional back projection processing, based on the projection data collected by the data collecting means, and reconstituting the second reconstitution image of the imaging region and a synthesizing means (S85) for synthesizing a third reconstitution image, based on the first and second reconstitution images.
