The present invention relates to a detachable wheelchair brake system and, more specifically, to a detachable wheelchair brake system, which is used by being simply attached to an existing wheelchair, and preventing the wheelchair from moving when a user, who is difficult to move, sits on or rises from the wheelchair. According to the present invention, the detachable wheelchair brake system comprises: a safety bar detachably fixing one side end part to one of armrests of the wheelchair and forming the other end part to be able to rotate； a sensor unit detachably fixed to the other one from the armrests of the wheelchair, fixing the other end part of the safety bar to prevent a user from falling, and detecting release of the safety bar； and a brake unit detachably attached to a frame of the wheelchair and being closely adhered to a wheel to restrict rotation of the wheel when the sensor unit detects the release of the safety bar.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018본 발명은 탈부착이 가능한 휠체어용 브레이크 시스템에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 몸이 불편한 사용자가 휠체어에 앉거나, 기립하는 과정에서 휠체어가 이동하는 것을 방지하되, 기존의 휠체어에 간단하게 부착하여 사용하기 위한 탈부착이 가능한 휠체어용 브레이크 시스템에 관한 것이다.또한, 휠체어의 팔 받침대 중 하나에 일측 단부가 탈부착 가능하게 고정되되, 타측 단부가 회동 가능하게 구성되는 안전 바와 휠체어의 팔 받침대 중 다른 하나에 탈부착 가능하게 고정되되, 사용자의 낙상을 방지하기 위해 상기 안전 바의 타측 단부를 고정시킬 수 있도록 구성되며, 안전 바의 해제를 감지하기 위한 센서부와 휠체어의 프레임에 탈부탁이 가능하게 구성되되, 상기 센서부가 안전 바의 해제를 감지하면, 바퀴에 밀착되어 바퀴의 회전을 억제하는 브레이크부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
