The present invention relates to a probiotic composition comprising a Lactobacillus salivarius KCTC18458P strain or a culture medium thereof deposited in Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, wherein the strain promotes the growth of pigs and improves diseases resistance by having the properties: (a) when the strain is cultured in a pig intestine imitation model designed with a mouth environment, a stomach environment, and an intestine environment are composed, viability is superior to that of L. rhamnosus GG (LGG), wherein the mouth environment has pH of 6.50.2, a culturing time of 5 minutes, and mucin of 0.5 gl^(-1), the stomach environment has pH of 4.40.2, a culturing time is 2 hours, and mucin of 55 gl^(-1), and the intestinal environment has a pH of 6.50.2 and a culturing time of 5 hours； and (b) when the strain is mixed and cultured with E. coli in pig splenocytes (PSI), an TEER change value is positive.본 발명은 한국생명공학연구원에 기탁된 Lactobacillus salivarius KCTC18458P 신균주 또는 이의 배양액을 포함하는 생균제 조성물을 이용하는 발명으로서, 특히 상기 균주는 (a) 구강(MOUTH) 환경, 위(STOMACH) 환경, 장(INTESTINE) 환경으로 구성하되, 구강 환경은 pH가 6.5±0.2, 배양시간은 5분, 뮤신(Mucin)은 0.5g·l-1이며, 위 환경은 pH가 4.4±0.2, 배양시간은 2시간, 뮤신(Mucin)은 55g·l-1이고, 장 환경은 pH가 6.5±0.2, 배양시간 5시간으로 설계한 돼지장관 모사모델에서 배양시 생존성이 락토바실러스 람노서스(L.rhamnosus) GG(LGG)에 비해 우수함.； 및(b) 배양된 돼지소장세포(PSI)에 대장균(E.coli)과 혼합 배양시 TEER 변화값이 양의 값임.；특성이 있어 돼지의 생장을 촉진하고 내병성을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
